Facility Needs
-
Arena Fencing - $8100
Our beautiful riding arena is almost complete! The very last step to bring this project over the finish line is a wood fence. We are currently making do with a temporary plastic post fence, shown in the photo above, but a long term solution that will serve our programs for years to come is needed. The cost to install a proper, safe wood fence is $8,100.
-
Arena Drag - $2500
Our riding arena needs an arena drag that will maintain the footing consistency that is safe and stable for our program horses. Carolina Arena Equipment has generously offered a $500 discount to support our mission. We need $2500 to purchase this arena drag.
-
Therapeutic Ramp - $800
Mounting ramps provide the opportunity for those with physical, mental, and emotional challenges to reap the benefits of horseback riding. We need $800 to purchase raw materials to build the ramp.
-
Stone and Stall Mats - $1550
In the Carolinas when it rains, it rains HARD. All of our run in 24’×12’ stalls partially flood when we get rain. We need to fill in and re-level low areas with stone and top them with stall mats to create a permanent solution that will provide our animals with clean, dry, and healthy conditions as rainy season approaches. A truck load of pit gravel (the most affordable option) is $450 and 24 stall mats costs $1100. In total, with stone and stall mats, this project costs $1550.
